As a highly motivated, focused, creative of 28 years, Stuart Fletcher employs all of the skills of a Video Craft Editor, Motion Effects Designer and 3D Animator. His professional success so far has been gained within broadcasting and the corporate video sector. However, his skill-set extends to hand coding in HTML and CSS, script writing and print, being fully interchangeable within a wide range of corporate environments. He is always keen to embrace new opportunities within the digital publishing and communication sector.

Key Achievements

  • Key member of a six man team responsible for the production of the National Trust’s ‘Neptune Coastline Campaign,’ which informed the public of the global warming issue, promoting the work of, and raising funds for the Trust’s care of Britain’s coastline

  • Provided key visual contribution to Swansea University’s documentary ‘A Glimpse of Greenland: The Disappearing Ice,’ which interpreted fieldwork data and analysis from international agencies such as NASA into forecast illustrations for government agencies and a general audience

  • Instigated, researched, and developed in-depth study of established biblical saga, revealing new information that stimulated the production of four 60 minute documentaries requiring international sourcing.

    Jordan’s Royal Road was the first, with the three part series Joseph, Moses and Egypt’s Three Kingdoms following.

    Filmed in Egypt and the Middle East and made to international standards, oversaw all aspects of film production including: carnet and filming permissions, interviewing of leading academics, writing, editing, post production and direction. Released on VoD platforms: iTunes, Amazon, Vimeo and Google Play

  • Provided key visual contribution to the documentary series 'The Quiet American Gardener' produced by 196 Productions Ltd.

LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER | August 1995 to November 1998
  • Managed all graphics input for several award winning prime-time regional news and current affairs television programmes. Played an integral role in programme planning meetings and technical discussion groups. Design team nominated for BAFTA Cymru award for the Welsh news programme Newyddion in 1995

  • Instigated brand identity, developed and produced all on-going visual requirements to ensure highest standards were maintained on main regional daily news and weekly current affairs programmes

  • Established, negotiated and co-ordinated with support services, specialist contractors and production teams both inside and outside the organisation

  • Sold concept of graphic design to prime time producers and took a leading role in establishing it as a major source of ideas and concepts for all areas of visual communication
GRAPHIC DESIGNER | September 1989 to August 1995
  • Provided key visual contribution to documentary covering regional murder story, utilising a low-cost but effective production technique, later duplicated by national network

  • Developed brand identity for award winning regional current affairs programme ‘Week In Week Out’, and the regional political programmes ‘Conference Report’ and ‘Welsh Lobby’

  • Key member of a team responsible for providing all visual requirements to the coverage of live sporting and national events

  • Lead on corporate commissions 'Tetra' and 'BBC Resources'
GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT - BBC SOUTH | August 1988 to September 1989
  • Maintained the design, co-ordination and production of all graphic and studio set requirements for the daily regional news programme ‘South Today’

  • Produced individual graphics packages for main regional features programmes, five of which were screened on national networks

  • Researched and developed critical explanatory factual footage for the human interest documentary ‘The Bombing of Le Havre’
